The video titled "Let's give thepessary a try?" Is an short production that portrays situationsthrough testimony in which women demonstrate in their daily lives howthey manage to use vaginal pessaries to correct the symptoms ofpelvic organ prolapse (POP). Even in very precarious socioeconomicand educational contexts in an underdeveloped Country. They had neverhad access before to information on POPs and pessaries in theirlifes. Objective: The main objective is to create an easy-to-accessvideo instrument in simple language to inform about POPs and toguide, stimulate and consolidate the use of vaginal pessaries inwomen with POP. In addition, the video is also intended to offerwomen's health professionals some basic POP concepts and instructionson the management of the vaginal pessary. Methods: The videoproduction was based on theoretical on the "Self-EfficacyTheory" (the belief that the individual has about his or herability to successfully perform a particular activity)1where experiences lived by the women and guided by healthprofessionals will be able to improve the confidence of these womenin using the vaginal pessary and thus increase adherence to this use.The narrative begins with the presentation of the elementary conceptsof POP, through examples of signs and symptoms of this clinicalcondition, as well as epidemiological data, in accessible languageand within the life context of these women. Relevance: The videopresents real and sensitizers stories about women with POPs whomostly suffered in silence, aggravated by misinformation andprecarious socioeconomic conditions. It addresses real examples ofpeople who use the pessary successfully, in addition to thecharacters of nurse, a doctor and four patients who help the publicunderstand the use of the device, through exposure and discussion ofthe difficulties, suffering and therapy of POP. The medical characteris responsible for presenting the indication of the treatment withpessary and explain the procedures for implantation, in addition todrawing attention to the stories of the main characters and ofsupport, with truthful testimonies that give life to the plot andbring to the viewer more information and Knowledge, helping toovercome difficulties about the device and prolapse,
